• Chris Peltonen - Chief Executive Officer

    A highly experienced geoscientist and oil and gas professional with over 25 years of industry experience. He has a broad background ranging from hands-on wellsite operations to project management, executive management, and academic research. Dr Peltonen has spent most of his career working in offshore/coastal California with additional experience working in Norway and East Africa. He holds a MSc and PhD in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Oslo, Norway where he also worked as a Petroleum Geologist/Research Fellow on projects with Statoil (equinor), Shell and Conoco Phillips. He also holds a MSc in Global Energy Management from University of Colorado Denver.

  • Larry Huskins - Chief Operating Officer

    A seasoned operations and engineering manager with over 25 years in the O&G industry with expertise in drilling, completions, production and facilities operations. He has a diverse background in various domestic and international, onshore and offshore projects located in US, Canada, North Sea, South America and the Middle East. Significant experience in coastal California, harsh climates, deep water projects with important exposure to conventional and unconventional upside projects. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering plus a MBA from Dalhousie University in Canada and has also been involved in several industry innovations including dual ESP technology and holds a patent on subsea wellhead technology.

  • Keith Wenal - Chief Compliance Officer

    A highly experienced HES manager with over 35 years working in the Wyoming, Texas and California offshore and onshore O&G industry in drilling, production & processing operations and pipeline transportation. Substantial expertise in the health, environment and safety, and regulatory compliance gained through 25 plus years advising and managing top of class HES organizations in California and Texas consistently recognized by regulatory agencies. His expert knowledge of the offshore and onshore California regulatory environment and permitting processes at the local, State and Federal level, and the ability to navigate multiagency projects has been critical to achieving growth and success. He attended Rutgers University and has continued learning throughout his career through certificate programs in the areas of executive safety and health management, emergency and business continuity planning and response, and environmental protection.

  • Michelle Pasini - President, Beacon West Consulting

    An accomplished business leader and trusted consultant with over 25 years of experience leading high performing teams in the energy sector. Serving in various leadership, managerial, and technical roles, she assists clients with project optimization, permit acquisition, alternatives analysis, CEQA/NEPA review, and development of regulatory compliance and training programs. Areas of expertise include decommissioning planning, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale coastal project permitting. Her work experience ranges from California and the Gulf of Mexico to the North Sea, West Africa and Southeast Asia. Ms. Pasini holds a BSc degree from Stanford University in Applied Earth Sciences.
