Platform Fire & Gas Monitoring and Maintenance Systems

Beacon West instrumentation specialists implemented a project to replace 40-yr old vintage catalytic bead (CB) Combustible Gas Detectors and UV Fire Detectors throughout multiple offshore platforms.  Working within the client's budget, a C-More touch panel was employed for operator interface.  This included the fabrication of four (4) PLC Panels and numerous rungs of ladder logic to provide the adequate safety monitoring and shutdowns.
