Platform Automation - SCADA System Modifications and PLC Management

Beacon West Instrumentation and Automation Specialists developed breathing air monitoring systems for multiple platforms in the Santa Barbara Channel to allow for the safe operation of standby air volume.  Programmable Logic Control (PLC) panels were fabricated and advanced PLC logic was created to provide low pressure and high-pressure alarms as well as leak detection at specific air cascades. The project included the development of a Wonderware Intouch application for operator monitoring and control.  This project incorporated wireless pressure transmitters.
