Solar Powered Lighting & Surveillance System

Beacon West managed the installation of a 1.77 kW solar powered battery system with automated generator backup power on an OCS platform. The renewable-powered battery system provides sufficient capacity for lighting, internet communications, and platform security systems. The security system consists of a 12-camera video surveillance and digital video recording package with motion detection.  

The Team is designing similar systems for other offshore platforms and remote facility locations.
